Peacock Bass on a Fly Rod

Hi there, this is Captain Brett Isackson this is your daily fishing report.

Today I was out what Mike Whalen and his son little Mikey from Parkland Florida. We went out to Lake Ida to do some Peacock bass fishing, a little fly fishing and a little artificial lure fishing for Peacocks. We caught over (30) thirty peacock bass today, little Micky caught his biggest Peacock bass on a fly rod.

I was awesome showing him how to work the fly rod, he now has it down on how to pin point these Peacock bass on flies. We were using clouser minnows and little crappie jigs to catch our peacock bass today.
