The fishing rates do not include a Florida fishing license. The state requires all customers between 16 and 65 years of age to have a license. The cost for a non-resident license is $ 17.00+ tax. You may purchase a license at Walmart and at most area tackle shops once you get to town. In a last-minute notice situation a license can be obtained by calling 1 888-FISH-FLO with a credit card, there is a service charge.
The fishing rates quoted do not include Live Bait. Bait can be decided on the day before with your captain, based on your desires and the fishing conditions. It’s purchased at the local marina/ tackle store, or from the FLPeacockbass.com guide service directly at our cost. We recommend medium to small shiners for Peacock Bass. The cost is $12.00 – $15.00 per dozen. (4 to 8 dozen recommended).
