Peacock Bass Fishing Trip
Hello this is Capt Robert E Miley on Lake Ida its raining right now. The water temperature was 84 the air was 91 and it is now 79 degrees, it wasn’t that windy but the fishing was awesome. I fished with the Abu Garcia guys Jerry his son Colby and his friend Ryan. We caught a nice variety of fish about 25 Peacock Bass the biggest was 4 1/2 pounds, but we caught some really nice ones and some Largemouth Bass. The Fish were biting on a mix of shiners and artificial our biggest came on Zara Spooks. My thumbs are worn out and theirs are too they couldn’t believe the pull on those fish.
We had an awesome day and I want to thank them for coming down here from South Carolina. I’m heading home cause I’m soaking wet but the fishing has been good. If anybody would like to come south and try some of these feisty fish they are biting great. Anyways for all your freshwater fishing adventures go to BassOnline, this is Capt Robert Miley thank you.
