Jim was traveling from Idaho to visit Florida on vacation and wanted to explore what the bass fishing was all about. Staying in the Palm Beach County area, peacock bass fishing was his best option. The Lake Ida Chain of Lakes. produced an excellent fishing charter. When you get a great day to go fishing, make sure you take advantage of it.

Jim had a great day on the water catching peacock bass. Lake Ida did not produce his trophy fish but produced several quality peacock bass. Jim landed 20 nice peacock bass weighing up to 3.5 pounds. Winds picked up making for a change in conditions but we still managed to find these fish. Sometimes you have to battle Mother Nature in order to find success.

Traveling further south, we arrive at Miami’s International Airport Lakes. Tom, Bernie and Montie were visiting Florida as well and wanted to experience this amazing fishery. Peacock Bass are thriving in this wonderful fishing charter location. Blue Lagoon is a sub lake that holds excellent bass fishing all year round. Captain Miley focused in this area on this fishing trip.

Tom was traveling from Lakeland, Florida while Bernie and Montie were traveling from Montana. Bernie is a fishing guide. They had to experience what South Florida had to offer them since they heard about the incredible fishing here. Airport Lakes did not disappoint them.

Tom, Bernie and Montie had a fantastic day on the water. Temperature and fishing conditions were nice and the bass were biting. They landed over 15 largemouth bass with a 2 pound average. The largest bass weighed 4 pounds.

As the weather continues to get warmer, the peacock bass will turn on even further. Our summer season is the best time to come to Florida and catch peacock bass. Captain Miley is looking forward to fishing with these great gentlemen again in the future.

Mike and his son Mickey adventured out with Captain Miley for a birthday present for Mickey. Mickey always wanted to explore Miami for peacock bass and it produced big time for him. One of the many reasons to travel to Miami is illustrated to come.

Mike and Mickey were on vacation while traveling from North Carolina. Mike is a jeweler and need some vacation time soaking in the sunshine of Florida. Weather conditions were conducive to catch some true quality peacock bass. Water temperatures were at 80 degrees with air temperatures reaching almost 100 degrees.

The peacock bass were biting on this fishing charter. Mike and Mickey landed some really nice ones. They landed over 20 bass on this quick fishing trip. Most were in the 2 pound range but they had several that stood out. Mickey landed a 3.5 pounder that made the trip. A bass of that class will put up a great fight and have you addicted on the first run.

Captain Miley is looking forward to fishing with Mickey and Mike again in the future. They had a fantastic trip!
